Peristiwa serangan Hamas terhadap Israel pada 7 Oktober 2023 dan serangan balasan Israel yang memakan banyak korban di Gaza telah menjadi sorotan utama media. Penelitian ini mengkaji framing program televisi Dua Sisi di tvOne episode “Gaza Membara Saling Serang Israel Palestina” terhadap fenomena konflik. Analisis ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomena konflik dan mengaitkan prinsip jurnalisme damai yang bertujuan untuk menyajikan informasi dengan menggunakan metode framing Robert N.Entman yang melibatkan seleksi isu dan aspek-aspek tertentu. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa tvOne melalui program Dua Sisi lebih menonjolkan perlawanan atas okupasi yang dilakukan oleh Israel selama bertahun-tahun yang dapat dilihat dari ruang bicara narasumber yang pro terhadap Palestina diberi kesempatan lebih banyak untuk menanggapi peristiwa pada 7 Oktober 2023. tvOne melalui Dua Sisi hanya menjalankan fungsi menyampaikan informasi sebagai sebuah media televisi, tvOne melalui Dua Sisi belum menjalankan fungsi eduka karena belum dapat menampilkan data-data secara mendalam dan menyeluruh terkait konflik Israel dan Palestina.

The Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023 and the Israeli counterattack that claimed many victims in Gaza have become the main media spotlight. This research examines the framing of the Dua Sisi program television on tvOne in the episode “Gaza Memanas, Saling Serang Israel Palestina ” on the phenomenon of conflict. This analysis uses a conflict phenomenon approach and relates the principles of peace journalism which aims to present information using Robert N.Entman’s framing method which involves the selection of certain issues and aspects. The analysis shows that tvOne through the Dua Sisi program accentuates the resistance to the occupation carried out by Israel for many years, which can be seen from the speaking space of sources who are pro-Palestinian given more opportunities to respond to the events on October 7, 2023. tvOne through Dua Sisi only carries out the function of conveying information as a television media, tvOne through Dua Sisi has not carried out the educational function because it has not been able to display in-depth and comprehensive data related to the Israeli and Palestinian conflict.
