Peer Review Process
Editorial & Peer Review Process
Institut Bisnis Nusantara strictly follows the publication process in accordance with the Open Journal System (OJS) guidelines and templates, which are based on scientific article standards. All submitted manuscripts will undergo a review process. After the review, articles will be read by editorial members and further refined by the Managing Editor to meet the criteria required by the reviewers of the Institut Bisnis Nusantara Journal.
Manuscripts will be assigned to two reviewers, selected based on their expertise in the manuscript's subject area. Each reviewer will complete a review form, evaluating aspects such as clarity, originality, and contribution to the field.
Revisions will be required based on reviewers’ comments or suggestions. Reviewers will also provide ratings regarding the context of the article, including clarity, originality, and its scientific or practical contributions.
Editorial Decision Types
- Accepted with no revision
- Accepted with minor revisions (the author must revise the article before the deadline)
- Accepted with major revisions (the author must revise the article before the deadline)
- Rejected (generally due to unsuitable background, out-of-scope topics, major technical problems, or lack of clarity)
To ensure originality, the Editorial Board screens all manuscripts using the Turnitin plagiarism checker. If plagiarism indicators between 25%–40% are detected, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision. If plagiarism exceeds 50%, the manuscript will be immediately rejected by the Editorial Board.
